Meditation has bought me to a new place in my existence. My day to day experience has completely changed and it’s all down to the practice of meditation.
There is no such thing as meditation not working. What may happen, is that you are not aware of the impact or changes that are taking place, but it definitely works.
It took about 6 months for me to notice the changes. The changes were so profound, yet subtle. And during the 6 months, I kept meditating, thinking that it wasn’t working.
You need to keep meditating for the benefit of relaxation, finding a peaceful moment and spending time enhancing your general health and well being. As you meditate, you begin to look turn inward and focus on yourself. You start to see yourself as a unique being and you take care of yourself from a higher level.
If you focus on meditating, not for the spiritual outcome, but for the outcome of satisfaction and comfort, it then becomes easier for the spiritual impact to be received. You release your resistance and expectations and allow the process to happen.
Like all things, once you release resistance and expectations, you allow what you want to come to you effortlessly. Keep going and enjoy the process.
