The “entity” in my sleep paralysis was somehow very familiar looking.
It may sound strange that this is quite normal. Through my Ph.D. research, I’ve been speaking to many people who experience sleep paralysis and they speak about seeing an old friend, a family member, someone that they love, etc. The entity comes close to their face and makes sure that they see this person. When the experience is recalled, it is very real. I was told on several occasions that they have no idea why this person showed up, especially in cases where they were not on good terms with the person.
It’s definitely strange, yet it is normal.
