If you are referring to during the actual episode, it is important to try to move an eyelid, toe or very small muscle.
More important than the actual physical movement, is the intention to do it before you sleep so that it becomes embedded in your subconscious and can be recalled during the episode.
You’ll find that whilst the episode takes place you will be saying to yourself ‘remember to move your toe.’ The non-physical you will be communicating with the physical you to release yourself from the experience.
